Allen can't keep a good mullet down
Jared Allen has "cut his manhood," according to one fan on Twitter. It was a common line of thinking for Vikings fans that worried that worried the star defensive end went soft and conformed to society after seeing that he cut his mullet.
It's only a temporary dip into conformity. Allen cut the locks for his wedding this weekend.
"The things men do for love," Allen said.
But after his lifestyle change with his wedding this weekend, Allen will start growing the mullet out again, according to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer.
"Talked w him yesterday about it, he's growin it back after," Glazer tweeted. "I wish wedding was in Vegas."
The wedding is in Chicago, but Allen said via Twitter that his attitude won't change even though his hairstyle did.
"The mullet was trimmed for the wedding but the Moolay is more than just some hair, its a lifestyle! You gotta keep a positive Mullitude.," Allen tweeted on Tuesday.
That's good news for those worried that Allen would lose his Samson-like sacking powers to the blades of scissors.
