Berrian, the sidekick, kicks off

"Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch" kicks off tonight at 8 p.m. on VH1. The show features Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco with Vikings wide receiver Bernard Berrian as his sidekick.

They are attempting to narrow down a field of 85 women vying for Ochocinco's heart at "dating camp."

"Eighty-five women, that's the Ochocinco way," he said in a preview of the show. "I haven't seen this many women on a football field since we played the Steelers."

Seventeen women made the initial cut, some while calling others "ghetto" and all of them sizing up their competition. Quality television, for sure.

Four fans traveling to see Favre

Four Minnesota Vikings fans are planning to ride their motorcycles, including the Vike Bike that mascot Ragnar rides onto the field before games, down to Hattiesburg, Miss., in an attempt to thank Favre for his 2009 season.

Todd Glock, owner of the Vike Bike, Darin Troftgruben, Diggz Garza and Herman Abrams, are leaving Mall of America Field on Tuesday morning and plan to arrive in Hattiesburg on Thursday.

While their itinerary isn't set, the mission is to say thank you to Favre.

"The night (the Vikings) lost to (the Saints in the NFC Championship), I just was thinking about how the season was the best I could remember," Glocke told the Hattiesburg American. "And if it wasn't for Brett Favre, (the Vikings) wouldn't have gone that far. So lately I've been thinking about what a fan could do to thank him."

The group also plans to visit Favre's hometown of Kiln, Miss.

Shiancoe chats about Favre, LeBron and Sharper

Vikings tight end Visanthe Shiancoe conducted a chat on Friday. While there were no bold proclamations and no big trash talk, he did offer a few opinions on a variety of topics.

On Brett Favre: "I damn sure hope so that he comes back! We'll pretty much start off like we finished last season ... and hopefully we finish, if you know what I mean.
"Let's hope all the recent indications on Favre are true."

On talk of LeBron James in the NFL: "I know where he'd be coming ... and what position he'd be coming to. LeBron is NOT welcome to the Minnesota Vikings, unless he's playing something other than TE!"

On the best linebackers he's faced: "That would be Ernie Simms (the Lions traded him to the Eagles in the offseason). When it comes to hustle, his motor doesn't stop. He is in every single play, regardless of where it is on the field. He'll hit you in the mouth, too."

On his Twitter trash talking with Darren Sharper: "It's not bad blood toward Sharper ... but when it comes to the trash talk, you guys just see what players really talk about ... how we really talk. We're both competitors on the field. When we were teammates, we used to battle against each other. We're friends off the field. I know that he's not going to allow me to beat him, and I'm not going to allow him to be me.

"It's going to be VERY competitive. We understand the game. We're aggressive guys in an aggressive profession. It's going to be physical out there ... and then after the game we can be friends again."
