If your like me you don't really want to do a lot of walking around in your hunting area during the season. My favorite time to do my scouting is right after the season goes out. Mainly because all the leaves haven't grown back yet and the vegetation isn't growing and that makes it easier to see where the trails are . The deer in our area are still rubbing trees, checking scrapes, and cruising fields for any leftover does all the way through February and early March. Generally on our farm, wherever they are now is pretty much where they will be roaming next season also. So get out there and put some footwork in, get your Covert cameras out, and go find those secret spots that will put you in position for a good deer next season.
