The second place spot is being held by Ben McCormick of Shreveport, LA with 13.57 pounds. "If I can come in with five a day, I think I might have a shot," said McCormick. McCormick was AOY of AFT Division 48, leaving him in second place for AOY.
Joe Bennett of Avondale Estates, GA is the leading co-angler after Day One with 7.24 pounds. "It's certainly tough for everyone out there. I just happened to have been helped out by the boater that I traveled here with and my boater today," said Bennett.
