CHANNING CROWDER’S BASS FISHING TOURNAMENT

THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF BROWARD IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE 2nd ANNUAL CHANNING CROWDER’S BASS FISHING TOURNAMENT. It's Broward County only Charity Bass Fishing Tournament.

The Boys & Girls Club of Broward County (BGCBC) is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Channing Crowder’s Bass Fishing Tournament benefiting the NFL YET Lester H. White Boys & Girls Club. The day event hosted by Channing Crowder, former Miami Dolphins Superstar and host of WQAM is set to take place on Saturday, January 17th, 2015 at Everglades Holiday Park followed by a Weigh-In Party at Ron Bergeron’s Green Glades Ranch which will feature food, live entertainment, live and silent auction as well as the presentation of tournament winners.

This years generous sponsors for Channing Crowder’s Bass Fishing Tournament (official partner of the FLW) include WQAM, Vacation Village Resorts, Leo Goodwin Foundation, Gary Wendt, Castrol Oil, Guy Harvey, Sam’s Club, Tripp Scott Law Firm, Ft. Lauderdale Mariner’s Club, C. Davis Electric, Firstlantic, Team National, Moss Construction, CCLUSA, GexPro, World Electric Supply, Archer Construction, Hypower, Walmart, Allied Buildings, SweetWater Brewing Company, VooDoo BBQ, and Jersey Mike’s.

The Tournament will feature FLW Castrol Oil Pro Mike Surman along with celebrity guests including former Miami Dolphins superstars. “Channing and I can’t wait for this years tournament. He’s been talking trash about beating me, but there is no way I will let that happen, “ said FLW Pro Mike Surman. “Its great that we both get to do something we have a passion for while helping The Boys & Girls Club,” he added.

Proceeds of this years event will benefit The BGCBC’s NFL YET Lester H. White Club. BGCBC serves children between the ages of 6 and 18, providing an assortment of activities to benefit the kids in our community and keep them off the streets. BGCBC is focused on helping members, especially “those who need us the most,” achieve success through participation in the following core areas: academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles.

There is a $10,000 Grand Prize including over $20,000 in cash prizes for the tournament winners. Local Anglers are welcomed to participate in the bass fishing tournament with a $250.00 boat entry fee (2 anglers per boat and entrance into the Weigh-In party).To ride with a FLW Pro or celebrity, the sponsorship begins at $2,500.
