3 More Elites Joins STORMR

STORMR ® brand clothing was an overnight success in the bass world when it showed up on several Bassmaster Classic competitors in 2013 at Oklahoma's frigid Grand Lake. Now the company is proud to announce the addition of John Crews, Justin Lucas and Carl Jocumsen, three of the sport's most personable and successful anglers, to a growing and highly accomplished pro staff.

Existing staff members on the Bassmaster Elite Series include 2014 Bassmaster Angler of the Year Greg Hackney, 2010 Forrest Wood Cup Champion Kevin Hawk, Federation National Champion Paul Mueller, Scott Ashmore and Joe Sancho.

Two years after the brand's initial "overnight success," the popularity of STORMR ® gear has snowballed. At last year's Classic, more than a dozen competitors sported STORMR® apparel. Since that time, the company's Fusion Series won the coveted "Best Technical Apparel" award at the ICAST trade show and the brand's obvious and numerous advantages cannot be ignored.

"In my career I have been out in some miserable conditions, so I am a firm believer that quality foul weather gear is essential," said Crews. "I have never worn a product that is as sealed and comfortable as the STORMR® Fusion suit. You stay dry and that is a huge part of staying warm. STORMR® has the best technology and features in their gear at a good price, which is exactly what I have been looking for. I can't wait to show anglers about the STORMR® products.""

All three new staffers bring both youthful exuberance and tremendous experience to the table. Still a few years shy of his 40th birthday, Crews is on the verge of fishing his ninth Classic and is also the driving force behind the massively successful Missile Baits. Lucas will also be fishing the Classic. It'll be his first one, but he's no rookie, with five Forrest Wood Cups under his belt. Jocumsen is the first native of Australia to qualify for the sport's most prestigious tour and is a noted media figure in his home country.

For Lucas, a breakout star who is originally from California but now calls Alabama home, the cold weather can be a shock. "STORMR® protects me from all of the harsh elements that we face throughout the season," he said. "I am blown away by how warm the STRYKR suit keeps me and can't imagine living without it during the winter months."

STORMR®'s Fusion Series jackets and bibs utilize VAPR Tech (Variable-stretch Advanced Performance Rain-gear) to create windproof, waterproof, breathable shells that strategically incorporate high-stretch neoprene panels for an increased range of motion and superior comfort - all while remaining extremely lightweight. In a sea of copycats,STORMR® stands out as the first and only company to combine high-end neoprene with high-end technical fabrics. Critical touches like magnetic pocket closures and internal neoprene cuffs ensure body comfort, while strategically-placed gear pockets create maximize functionality. Now, with the lighter Fusion Series available, they'll be sporting the logo nearly 12 months out of the year, and so will an increasing number of recreational anglers who value comfort, innovation and a fair price.

STORMR® products use Neoprene Core Technology™ to adapt the benefits generations of divers have used to fight the elements to land-based and amphibious activities. STORMR® is owned by Henderson Sport Group, which has manufactured neoprene products for half a century and understands the material's unique abilities. The resulting gear provides maximum comfort and maneuverability, along with superior thermal benefits, in a thin, soft, flexible, windproof and waterproof shell which also provides positive buoyancy. There's nothing like them on the market today.
