Drones Deliver Beer To Ice Anglers

How great would it be to call up a local brewery and have them instantly send you a case of beer while you're out fishing? Minnesota brewery, Lakemaid Beer considered aerial delivery after they launched their new Frosty Winter Lager.

Through the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), or drones, delivering cases of beer to anglers on Lake Mille Lacs may have been breaking "new ground."

Unfortunately, after the video below went viral the FAA caught wind of the effort and shut down the service. You see, in the U.S. it's illegal to use drones for commercial use.

Here's to hoping thirsty anglers everywhere won't have to wait for conventional deliveries much longer.
