The Minneapolis Boat Show

Despite the second Polar Vortex we faced in Minnesota two weeks ago and a substantial snow event, the Minneapolis Boat Show went on and people came out, some were just out to do something other than stay in their homes, but many attended with a purpose.

I spent Thursday and Friday at the show, talking to show-goers in the Minn Kota and Humminbird booth. While there I observed two things.

1.The number of families getting their children involved in the sport of fishing via a pontoon boat is ever increasing. Getting today's youth outside and away from the TV or computer is so important. With a pontoon you are able to keep that child interested in being out on the water longer, by being able to comfortably fish or cruise the lake.

2.The technology anglers have access to every year is continually on the rise and these tools should be viewed as an asset to an angler. Being willing to learn about, and adequately use these tools, it is essential to talk to an individual who is very familiar with the item(s) you are looking at purchasing and placing on your rig. It may be highly beneficial to attend a tutorial sessions when possible. Today's electronics WILL help you catch more fish.
