Stay Put With The Minn Kota Talon

Being able to fish the right structure without worrying about the boat blowing around makes catching much easier!

Anytime I’m on the water I’m thinking about ways to maximize my fishing time. By focusing on the key areas that are holding the right group of bass will greatly increase catch rates. That’s why when in shallow water, I rely on my Minn Kota Talons.

The Talon is a shallow-water anchor system that is deployed with the push of a button. This is very beneficial when fishing a key stump, weed bed or boat dock, because I can concentrate on making my cast count. The Talon also comes in handy when I need to retie my lure or parking the truck at the boat ramp.

This is a valuable tool that makes me more effective when on the water, and anytime you are fishing shallow structure and the wind is pushing your boat, these things making catching a whole lot easier!
