Minn Kota Terrova

The right tool attached to the front of your boat will help you stay in position to catch more fish.

There are a lot of items on the market that certainly help us become more efficient, and often times even catch a few more fish, but rarely are they a game changer.

The Minn-Kota Terrova is an electric trolling motor that has become so popular that nearly all of the professional walleye anglers and even a few bass anglers have them on the bow of their boats.

A features such as autopilot allows anglers to maintain a straight line, even when netting and fighting a fish. This is particularly important when fishing in rough or expansive stretches of structure.

A foot pedal of more than 10 feet of cord and a wireless remote allow the user to control it from anywhere in the boat. Another advantage of the remote is that you can make incremental adjustments to both steering and speed, which is much more difficult with just a foot pedal.

Spot Lock is a feature that holds the boat on a single waypoint, almost like a digital anchor. Well, exactly like a digital anchor.

Depending on the specific model chosen you can even link it with your Humminbird electronics to use the GPS screen to control the motor and navigation with iPilot Link.

Much like your cell phone the Minn Kota Terrova can do way more for us than we will typically take advantage of. It’s an amazing tool that has changed the game, for me at least!

Available in 12-, 24- and 36-volt models and with shaft lengths from 48 to 60 inches.
