BMC '15: Day One In The Books

Here's how the best in the biz did during the first day on Lake Hartwell near Anderson, South Carolina.

As expected some of the pros found the fish and exceeded expectations in weight, while other anglers struggled to put together a limit. Was it the conditions? Was it the outlying personal issues? Some of both?

The current Day One leader is Dean Rojas with 21-2 in total weight, a bit more than was originally expected.

Dean Rojas is in the lead with a massive 21-2 after Day 1. We'll see if he can keep that kind of bite going for the next two days.

My fantasy team did pretty well overall and most will be near making the cut to fish on Sunday. We'll see!

A Bucket: 33rd Aaron Martens had 7-9 with 3 fish

B Bucket: 6th Casey Ashley had 15-3 with 5 fish

C Bucket: 9th Mike Iaconelli 14-7 with 4 fish

D Bucket: 22nd Ott Defoe had 10-6 with 5 fish

E Bucket: 14th Jacob Wheeler with 12-10 and 5 fish

Andy Young from Minnesota is sitting in 45th. Here's a cool video of Andy during Media Day that was shot and edited by NAF contributor Christina Weber.
