Designed by bait fanatic Patrick Sebile, the Action First line of cranks provide crankbait anglers with a myriad of options surrounding color, size, shape, and action. My favorite feature to these baits is the body shape—there really isn’t anything like them on the market.
This line of baits come standard with Sebile’s innovative and original External Weight System, which actually reduces fish from coming unbuttoned, improves castability and accuracy and greatly enhances the swimming action. There are also a few interesting attribute selections to make including bait length, size buoyancy and color providing anglers with more choices to match more situations!
First, and probably my favorite is the Bull Minnow. The lure has a low, external weight that allows for a lower center of gravity, higher buoyancy potential and better tracking ability between snaps of the rodtip. It has a wider action and the profile is very attractive to the bigger-size bass that an angler would hope to catch. I feel this would be a fine power-fishing presentation when searching for suspended bass that are semi-aggressive to aggressive. Availble in a 4- and 5-inch model, 1/2- and 3/4-ounce weights and 10 striking colors.
The Racer Crank is a medium body crank available in three sizes—2-, 2.5- and 3-inch versions, 1/8-, 3/8- and 5/8-ounce sizes and 12 colors. The lures attain their running depth quickly and can be worked quickly or slow-rolled while the angler can be confident in the depth the lure is running.
The Bull Crank is turning angler and fish heads! This is a go-go search bait in shallow, medium and deep waters, especially water with lots of wood and rock. The square bill helps the bait deflect over structure without getting hung up. It’s also silent, which is crucial for clear, shallow water fishing. It comes in 2- and 2.5-inch lengths, 1/4- and 1/2-ounce sizes, shallow- or medium-floating models and 10 lifelike colors.
The Vibe Machine is a silent lipless bait that has a wide, attention-grabbing action and can be worked effectively through various retrieves. The wide head deflects from cover and can be controlled at numerous depths. The less aggressive design is highly effective for shallow water fishing, but it can be worked in a yo-yo fashion on bottom for a totally different look.
