Reclaimed Texas Mine Produces Trophy Bass For Texas Lakes

Steve Pennaz heads down to Texas to fish a very unique lake, one that's a former strip mine that's been turned into a private research center for Texas Parks & Wildlife.

Luminant Energy in Texas turned one of their old strip mines into a private lake and have teamed up with the Texas Park & Wildlife department to use the lake to do research and  produce trophy largemouth bass. In conjunction with the ShareLunker Program the Texas Park & Wildlife department hopes to produces trophy bass to populate the entire state.
