Silent Invaders: Gobies

Meet the Round Goby. Hopefully you won't be seeing him around much.

The Round Goby stands as one of the more voracious and prolific of the aquatic invasive species. These bug-eyed bullies invade an area and drive out the less aggressive native species. They are, however, also vulnerable to predators, and have launched an entire category of baits.

The question is whether we can turn the tide on these invasive nuisances before they alter any more aquatic ecosystems.
