Any tournament angler will tell you that fishing dams can be very rewarding, even if most require a long run in the boat. We caught up with veterans Tim Ezell and Mike DiMatteo fishing the American Bass Angler's Military Tournament on Lake Eufaula, Alabama as they boat a few largemouth.
While it may seem that there would be a clean bottom coming off the face of the dam, Tim points out that the structure is actually littered with brush piles that hold fish. These two are in the top five on this final day, and the fish they catch here are huge as every ounce means a bigger paycheck.
A bit of drama ensues when the net man misses on their biggest bass. The tension is palpable as these two hearty veterans work every inch of the dam for largemouth.null
