This shoot was typical of so many fishing outings. The bite wasn't there early on, and then the guys were left at midday with bluebird skies and no wind. Not the best conditions for fishing to say the least.
Since topwater wasn't going, they had top go in search of the bigger fish. They tried different colors until they keyed into the right one, and found a hump that held fish. As always, Steve Pennaz has all the details of what worked for them.
