Montauk - False Albacore

The action didn't let up after the striped 'bass blitz' was over off Montauk.

After the 'bass blitz' of striped bass ended, Capt. Frank Crescitelli treated North American Fisherman host John Haynes to round two off Montauk, New York: False Albacore.

Albees as they're affectionately known, are a hard fighting tuna species common in the Atlantic similiar to the bonita found further south. 

These fish are famous for screaming drag off reels, and this outing was certainly no exception...
