Hot Summer Bass

Here's a few things that might help put a few more hot summer bass in your livewell.

Hot sun. Flat water. Bluebird skies. Hardly perfect for fishing, but many times we have no choice but to play the hand mother nature deals us.

That's the time to get creative and find fish with tactics you may not have tried in awhile. Color change-ups are well worth the effort, and look for gravel humps that offer structure of varying depths. Topwater lures can help cover more water, not to mention exploring heavier cover.
