By the time May or June rolls around most antlers that haven't been picked up by hunters have been consumed by treerats.

It's always worth keeping your eye out when you pulling stands, looking for ‘shrooms or hanging cams for some early season velvet pictures. You just may stumble upon the set of antlers you spent February and March searching for!
