Former Miss Kansas Joins Bear Archery

2014 Miss America top-ten finalist Theresa Vail has partnered with the team from Bear Archery.

Bear Archery recently announced the signing of Theresa Vail as pro-staffer and brand ambassador. Vail, also known as Miss Kansas and a 2014 Miss America top ten finalist, is a sergeant in the Kansas National Guard and is pursuing a psychology degree.

Theresa is a passionate bowhunter, and her skills in archery certainly set her apart from many of her fellow competitors during the 2014 Miss America pageant. We editors, along with untold numbers of hunters across the country, were cheering for Theresa to win Miss America. And even though our wives questioned the real motives for us tuning into the Miss America pageant, we're happy to see that Theresa Vail is joining the hunting industry.

"We are extremely excited to have someone like Theresa on our team," said Jason Pickerill, marketing manager for Bear Archery. "Her passion for the outdoors and bowhunting goes beyond what it will do for her, but what she can do for others out there. We strongly believe that Theresa will capture the attention and influence new people to the sport of bowhunting."

"I am proud to represent Bear Archery," said Vail. "The people and the equipment are topnotch, and I look forward to what the future will hold for both of us. I have been in love with outdoor sports since I was a young girl, so for me this opportunity truly is a dream come true."
