Youth hunter Wyatt Schearer recently tagged his first black bear—a beautiful blonde/cinnamon color-phase bruin—with one shot from his CVA Accura V2 Nitride muzzleloader. Way to go, Wyatt!
He was on a family hunting and fishing trip with his brother, Walker, and parents, Marsha and Chad. They stayed at Reindeer Lake Trout Camp in Saskatchewan and had an amazing adventure.
In addition to experiencing great bear hunting, the family hammered big pike, too. Walker is shown above with a 40-incher he landed via fly rod, and Marsha (below) also got in on the action.
Thanks to the Schearer family for sharing pics of their family vacation with North American Hunter. It's true: The family that hunts—and fishes—together, stays together!
