The New Ruger American Ranch Rifle

Mark Kayser spoke with Craig Cushman from Ruger Firearms about the newest addition to the American rifle line, the American Ranch. This short rifle is ideal for shootin' hogs or cleaning up varmints around your property.

The Ruger American rifle gets its name because it's 100 percent made in America. Since it's introduction a few years back, you'd be hard-pressed to find an American-made rifle that packs more value for the punch.

The New American Ranch rifle is more compact than the original Ruger American, featuring a barrel that's slightly over 16 inches and total lengths of 34 3/4 inches and 36 inches between the four different models. It's offered in 5.56 NATO (.223 Rem.) and .300 Blackout ... and it's only $499!
