Bowhunting Whitetails In Late January?

While many of the whitetails across the Northern United States are dropping their antlers, there are still bowhunters chasing bucks farther south.

For most hunters, the whitetail season closes with the culmination of the firearms season in their respective state of residence. That's generally late November, though a few whitetail seasons spill over into December.

For the very fortunate few, whitetail season remains open through January and offers some treestand therapy while others are forced to hang it up for the winter.

Here's a peek into the late-late season available to a pair of die-hard whitetail nuts in Arkansas ... and a long-awaited first bow kill.
