If you love to travel during the spring in search of gullible gobblers, Nebraska needs to be on your destination list! The state ranks as one of the top turkey producing locations in the nation, and for good reason. The weather is highly conducive to top-shelf poult recruitment, and the habitat is not only breathtaking, it's ideal for lots of birds!
I've been to Nebraska for years and have enjoyed tremendous success in all corners of the state. An abundance of turkeys means there's lots of stupid birds, which as turkey chasers, we all love a bird with a death wish!
If you want to put Nebraska on your list this spring, there's still time! The season begins in late March for archery hunters and youth hunter, and the regular gun season starts in early April runing until the end of May, plus you can kill 3 birds! Learn more here!
Here's a fun video of a bird my good friend killed last spring. Beautiful hunt for a beautiful bird! Check it out!
