Typically most bowhunters say October is the toughest month to kill mature whitetails, Mark Kayser says different. In early October most bucks are still in their bachelor groups then around mid-month they split up and start prerut activity. So all you have to do is be aware of these changes on your property and you're sure to be successful this October.
