Practice Like You Hunt

Mark Kayser shows you how to take your archery practice outside of the shooting range and prepare for real-life scenarios.

Your time at the archery range is paramount so never neglect it, but in order to ensure you're ready for your next hunt you need to take your practice outside the range. Putting yourself in made up situations like setting your treestand up in your back yard or shooting from your deck or an elevated embankment are all great practice for real situations.

After you've done these basic elevated shots step it up a bit put obstacles in your way or shoot from difficult angles.

The more scenarios you try the better prepared you'll be on your next hunt.
