Melissa Bachman is on her first hunting trip to South Africa with her rifle and bow instead of a video camera. The scenery and hospitality of the Maroi Conservancy make an indelible impression on her from the start.

Even though she's in awe, Melissa gets right down to business. She begins with a spot and stalk hunt and shares how tough it is to find a shot in the thick brush with her rifle. Plains game are very elusive and nearly impossible to sight in when they're in the blanket of cover provided by the bush.
