Decoying Pronghorn

Decoying pronghorn is coming into its own with new models like these.

Getting in close on pronghorn has been an art as long as man has hunted them. Those cagey speed goats have eyes like 12 power binoculars and waste no time bolting when they spot something not right in their world.

While groundblinds by waterholes have dominated the technique for some time, Mark Kayser tried decoying pronghorn out west with a newer-style full body decoy as well as the hat style his son Cole is sporting. It's the latest fashion out west for the creative North American hunter.
