The Porcupine Bear

This one goes to show you should always expect the unexpected.

This is classic black bear hunting in Quebec, but this one turned out anything but typically.

Bill Miller was the hunter, and he decided to switch places with the producer Melissa Bachman so she could take a bear with her bow, and he could film her with the camera. As a budding outdoor personality she was excited to take her first bear and Bill was only too happy to help her make it happen. Easier said than done.

Before that interchange took place she had to deal with a very bold porcupine in her tree. It was humorous at first, but then he started to impede the process. He's lucky he didn't buy one of her arrows himself!
