HOW TO: Survive A Lion Attack

Most often, this will make them reconsider and run off.

Odds are that you’ll never be attacked by a lion…

But do you know what do if you were?

Writer Annabel Fenwick Elliott of MailOnline consulted experts in the field who had this advice, “Make direct eye contact, and don’t break it. Back very slowly away. Never turn your back, never run. Lions will often do one or two mock charges before a full-on attack, running towards you but suddenly stopping a few paces away. If it does this, throw your arms out to make yourself look bigger and make as much noise as possible. Most often, this will make them reconsider and run off.”

Let’s hope that works.

If not...

Well, prayer never hurt anyone!
