Taking On The .600 Nitro Express

What it's like firing two 900 grain bullets...one after the other!

While on safari in Botswana with Ivan Carter, I was lucky enough to try out his Heym double chambered in .600 NE.

It didn't kick so much as PUSH.

Each bullet measures three inches n length and holds 900 grains of powder.

The .600 Nitro Express was introduced in 1903 by W.J. Jeffery & Co.

It is the second largest calibre in the Nitro Express line.

Only Holland & Holland's .700 Nitro Express round is larger.
