He paddled over 4,000 miles STANDING UP!

On March 9, 2017 Chris Bertish of South Africa became the first person to ever cross the Atlantic Ocean on a standup paddleboard (SUP).

The 4,050-mile journey began on December 6th, 2016, when he left Agadir, Morocco.

Chris hit Antigua at 8:32 am on March 9.

What?

He get up real early that morning or paddle through the night?

And while Chris gets credit for being the first to cross the Atlantic on a standup paddleboard, his was unlike any you’ve ever seen.

Let’s cut to the chase.

It was actually a boat.
