Turkey Hunting The Badlands Part 6 Gayne Young

NAH Editor Gayne C. Young's turkey hunt in the South Dakota Badlands comes to an end.

Writers Jon Stokes, Lou Marullo, Global Media & Public Relations Director Department of Tourism Katlyn Richter, and I left Circle View Ranch bright and early for our two hour drive to the Rapid City Airport.

But Katlyn insisted that we visit the World Famous Wall Drug Store en route.

A drugstore?!

Gee, could we?

Actually the drug store was kind'a fun and well worth the visit.

The store became famous for giving away free ice water to roadside travelers in the 1930s.

Today, it's a massive roadside attraction of over 70,000 square feet that sees upwards of 20,000 people a day.

It's so big it even has a chapel...

A little sin...

And lots of history.

Given all the art in the background, I'm sure this photo of Jon and Lou is illegal.

Unfortunately, our flights awaited so we grabbed some donuts n' headed out.

My thanks to Global Media & Public Relations Director Department of Tourism Katlyn Richter, Stoeger Industries, and Field & Stream Everyhunt Turkey Vest in Realtree Xtra. for a fantastic time!
