Reserve (La.) East St. John product Alex Singleton made the short drive over to Baton Rouge to check out LSU's practice on Saturday and there were two reasons he made the trip up I-10.

Alex Singleton has a message for college coaches everywhere.
East Saint John running back Alex Singleton (5-11, 216) is putting all of his stock into his senior season. The nation's No. 13 rated fullback, is coming off of a junior season in which he gained 1,507 yards and scored 22 touchdowns.
Alex Singleton has worked hard to put himself in a position to have interaction with college recruiters. Alex has had conversations with several schools, but his dance card still remains empty. Singleton hopes that some summer camp appearances and a strong senior season will change all of that.
Alex Singleton had a big junior year for Reserve (La.) East St. John as he ran for 1,507 yards and 22 TDs on 218 carries during the regular season.
Running back Alex Singleton really wants to play in the SEC or another BCS conference and he would like to leave his home state of Louisiana to do it if possible. He may have more than one chance to do just that if things go as planned.
