Cubs add eight free agents

The Chicago Cubs have signed eight minor league free agents as they restock the AAA team and fill needs in the organization. Among the players inking deals were IF Chris Valaika, C Eli Whiteside, Of Aaron Cunningham, OF Casper Wells, SS Walter Ibarra, SS Jeudy Valdez, P Carlos Pimentel, and P Paola Espino.
