'09 PREVIEW: "The Retrievers"

The wide receiver unit has taken their lumps in recent years, both in the press and on the field. In the last five years Idaho has operated under three different offensive coordinators, and this unit has suffered its share of attrition over the years. But this season, led by senior slot receiver MAX KOMAR and an experienced depth chart, the Vandals are poised to make the passing game a weapon.

BREAKING NEWS: Corona WR Headed to Idaho

WIDE RECEIVER IS A PRIORITY for Idaho this year, and the Vandals are tapping into one of California's top high school programs for talent. MARSEL POSEY (5-10, 160, 4.5) pledged his commitment to the Vandals, and the leading receiver from CIF State Championship runner-up Centennial High School (13-2) says, "They want me to play in the fall, and I don't expect to be redshirted."

Corona Cornerback Prospect Likes BYU

Sources indicate here of late that BYU plans on signing one more cornerback prospect to go along with current commits Garrett Nicholson and Cameron Comer. A few hopefuls made their way to Provo for the second week of camp. Among them was Marcel Posey from Corona, California, who is anxiously awaiting word of a possible scholarship offer.
