Walden Adjusting to WR

Terrell Walden is a 6-foot-0, 160-pound wide receiver from Miami Edison High School. He switched to wide receiver this spring after spending his first two seasons at cornerback. Walden is also recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in last year's spring game.

Last year the Hurricanes boasted one of the nation's top defensive back units led by Thorpe finalist Sean Taylor. Gone are Taylor, Maurice Sikes, and Alfonso Marshall. Good thing Antrel Rolle decided to return for his senior year after debating whether or not to enter the NFL Draft.

In the finale of the first two-a-day, there was a cool breeze and no rain. A lot of work got done today especially during a scrimmage with actual downs. A good crowd showed up to see the Hurricanes practice.
