Northwest Hot 100 final rankings are out

SEATTLE - The Scout.com Northwest Hot 100 can now be put to bed for the class of 2008. Spanning five states and one province, there are 27 schools represented, from BCS conferences all the way down to NAIA Division-1. The top-20 didn't change much, but there was a new entry into the top-25, and the Oregon State Beavers had the two biggest risers in the group.

Friday Night Lights - Skyline vs. O'Dea

SAMMAMISH, Wash. (Scout.com) - It's been a crazy 72 hours for the family of Jake Heaps. On Saturday, the 6-foot-1, 180-pound Heaps helped lead the Skyline Spartans to a 39-20 win over previously-unbeaten and No. 1 Lakes, giving the Spartans an inside track to the 3A championship game at the Tacoma Dome.

Cougs offer Skyline hoss

THE OFFENSIVE LINE MVP at the Cougs' summer youth camp this past June, Tom Swanson out of Skyline High in Issaquah took an unofficial visit to Washington State this past weekend and came away with a scholarship offer. The 6-7, 290-pounder has been in steady contact with WSU over the recruiting year, but things heated up after the Cougar coaching staff saw early senior season tape.
