According to a source, Temple men's basketball signee Andrew "Scootie" Randall has achieved a qualifying score on the SAT, and barring any late surprises from the NCAA Clearinghouse, he'll be eligible to play for the Owls this season.

Philadelphia had its back against the wall at the 5th Eddie Griffin Challenge. It lost the junior and sophomore games but rebounded in the senior contest behind the Morris Twins and forward Andrew Randall.

La Salle has a working list of recruits still considering the Explorers. Several have taken visits and still need to visit 20th & Olney while some others may take their first visit to Philadelphia. In the next month expect the recruiting picture to become much clearer and
