TUKWILA, Wash. - Here are the MVP's and Rising Stars, named at Jason Gesser's Northwest Elite Football Camp Sunday at Starfire. The MVP's were voted on by Gesser's staff, which included coaches from Washington State, Idaho, Hawaii and other colleges. The MVP's were the top player in each group, and the Rising Stars were the next-best players.

Jackson High School met Mountlake Terrace for this late season Wesco 4A match up on Friday night. It was a physical game with a lot of big hits and tough yards but in the end the Jackson Timberwolves (6-1) beat the Mountlake Terrace Hawks (3-4) by a score of 17-0. There was a decent amount of talent on the field, and a few kids who have a chance to play some college football.

SUMNER, Wash. - Just like last year, when Garfield's Deandre Coleman was arguably the top performer at the Competitive Edge Combine, again it was the year of the underclassmen. Sure, there was the occastional senior-to-be that stood out, but the young kids certainly passed the look test and generally seemed to be the better-looking prospects out of the 300 that worked out this past Saturday.
