David Conner has had a tough road getting to the D-1 level. The Northwest Mississippi Community College All-American hopes his appeal for a waiver on the 5 to play 4 rule will make it that much easier to achieve his goal.
David Conner was a state champion football player at South Panola. Conner was considered one of the top prospects in his home state of Mississippi when he finished four strong years on the high school level. Some issues arose off the field that led the talented tackler to put his college football dreams on hold. An older and more mature Conner is now ready to chase his dream in earnest.

South Panola, shocked some when he committed to UAB last night.

The talented defensive back committed to Auburn earlier in the process before reopening his recruitment after a coaching change on the Plains.
