Oakland A's Notes: LaRoche Designated

Heading into their game with the Boston Red Sox on Saturday, the Oakland A's were already thin in the bullpen after a 2.2 inning start by Josh Outman on Friday. The bullpen was emaciated by the end of Saturday thanks to a 14-inning heart-breaking loss. As a result, the A's made a roster move on Sunday.
