Baseball stops Grambing, starts WAC play Next

Chris Kersten had a double and a home run, driving in two runs, to lead the Bulldogs at the plate. Tech improves to 13-6 on the season and will begin the WAC portion of their schedule this weekend in Reno, Nevada. Mike LeBreton struck out four and did not walk a batter in three shutout innings of work.

Baseball Looks to Regroup

The Bulldogs will start a two game series with Baylor on Tuesday, after falling to Arkansas, Ohio State, and Texas A&M in the Domino's Pizza Classic. Baylor moved up to #11 in this week's Baseball America poll, after placing 13th and 15th in previous weeks. The Bears took care of four teams last week, including a 20-6 beat down of Illinois.

Diamond Dawgs off to 6-0 Start

Louisiana Tech will face its stiffest challenge of the season this weekend as the `Dawgs travel to College Station, Texas, for the Domino's Pizza Aggie Baseball Classic. They begin the three-day tournament by squaring off against Arkansas at 12:30 p.m. Friday. The game will be televised on COX Sports TV with Lyn Rollins and Ron Swoboda providing the play-by-play.
