Bishop retires, 7 others departing program

OFFSEASON ATTRITION IS a way of life in college football. That doesn't make it any less abrupt. Eight Beavers have left the program, Oregon State announced today. They are: WR Jordan Bishop, WR Geno Munoz, CB Keynan Parker, LB Cade Cowdin, QB Jack Lomax, LB Zeke Sanders, LB Will Storey and WR Tyler Trosin.

It's official: A big January impact for Beavs

AS EXPECTED AND previously reported on BF.C, five holdovers have now joined the OSU program. By enrolling in January, they'll get the added benefit of spring ball plus a big head start in advance of fall camp. A pair of walk-ons, plus a former UCLA verbal commit who switched to Oregon State in November, are now also officially in the OSU fold.

Lake Oswego ATH adds to pipeline

LAKE OSWEGO HAS been a football factory for Oregon State. Last year, Beavers Jack Lomax and Micah Hatfield came out of Lake Oswego, and other L-O products who became Beavers include Will Darkins, Marcus Henderson, Gabe Miller and Keith Robertson. The pipeline continues in the '10 class, with Will Storey making his verbal commitment this past week.
