Chadron Loses in State Title Game 46-40

Elliott Eliason, a 6-foot-11 center who signed with Minnesota in the early signing period, led Chadron (NE) High with 14 points and five blocked shots, but it was not enough as the Cardinals fell to two-time defending Class C-1 state champions Hastings (NE) St. Cecilia 46-40. Chadron entered the title game undefeated and was the No. 1 seed.

Elliott Eliason, a 6-foot-11 center from Chadron (NE) High who signed with Minnesota, has helped lead the Cardinals to 22-2 mark with 14 straight wins. The Cardinals will face Wilber-Clatonia (20-3) Thursday at 9:00. They finished runner-up to two-time Class C-1 state champions Hastings (NE) St. Cecilia 61-58 in the title game last season.

Elliott Eliason, a 6-foot-11 center from Chadron (NE) High who signed with Minnesota, has helped lead the Cardinals to 9-2 start as they have advanced to the fifth place game of the Energy Classic ion Gillette, Wyoming. Eliason scored 25 points in their first round loss to Portland (OR) Wilson. They bounced back with a win today and will play for fifth place Wednesday.

Elliott Eliason, a 6-foot-11, 235-pound center from Chadron (NE) High who visited Minnesota this past weekend, has committed to the Gophers. Eliason, who picked Minnesota over Stanford and Creighton, is the first player to commit to Minnesota in the Class of 2010. It is likely that he could redshirt as a freshman, allowing him to add strength to prepare for the rugged Big Ten.

Elliott Eliason To Make Minnesota Visit

Elliott Eliason, a 6-foot-11, 235-pound center from Chadron (NE) High, will visit Minnesota September 11th and will attend the Gopher football TCF Bank Stadium opener versus Air Force. Eliason led Chadron to a second place finish in the state tournament as they fell to defending Class C-1 state champions Hastings (NE) St. Cecilia 61-58, despite finishing with 17 points and nine rebounds.
