From Haltom City, Texas near Forth Worth, comes big 6-4, 240 defensive end Reggie Wilson. His head coach at Haltom High, Scot Hafley, reflected upon Wilson's development as he emerged as a freshman for the Buffaloes to his senior season where Wilson has just been named to the Army All-American game.

On Friday night, Haltom beat Hurst L.D. Bell in dramatic 15-14 fashion at Pennington Field. For many recruiting fans, it was a chance to senior defensive end Reggie Wilson and junior running back Kenny Farrow. Neither disappointed as Wilson recorded a game-winning sack for a safety late in the ballgame.

On Monday, Scout released the August edition of the Scout 300 which marks the end of the junior evaluation of the Class of 2010. The athletes have completed their junior seasons, the camp and combine circuit, and the college camp season to solidify their place on the Scout 300. The Longhorns have made quite a showing.

Scout.com released its post-spring evaluation Top 300 national list today and the state of Texas is very well represented. Of the top 100, thirteen Texans made the list while the Texas Longhorns already have pledges from five of those thirteen and are in the running for five other Texans. There are also several out of state players on this list that the Longhorns are targeting.
