Casey Coleman got a win for an early birthday present Friday. Chris Archer won his sixth straight start in his Double-A debut. Mike Brenly socked his fourth straight multi-hit game at Daytona. Greg Rohan reached the 50 RBI plateau at Peoria. Tarlandus Mitchell had a rough start at Boise, as did Casey Lambert in the AZL.

Cubs Minor League Notebook: June 23

For the second straight start, Jay Jackson suffered a first-inning beating at Iowa. Josh Vitters committed his ninth error and was 0-for-4 at Tennessee. Rebel Ridling had a 12-game hitting streak snapped at Daytona. Jeff Vigurs made the most of his first career start at Boise. Casey Lambert made his first appearance since undergoing Tommy John surgery, getting a start in the Arizona League.
