Minnesota BB Coaches Association Rosters Set

The 28th annual Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association Boys All-Star Series will feature forty of the top Minnesota seniors. The doubleheaders will be held April 9-10 with the Friday games being played at Halenbeck Hall on the St. Cloud State campus starting at 7 and 8:45 p.m. Saturday contests will be played at Leonard Center on the Macalester College campus in St. Paul at 2:15 and 4 p.m.

Jacob Thomas Commits to Long Beach State

Jacob Thomas, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound senior guard from Columbia Heights (MN) High, has committed to Long Beach State, according to Rene Pulley. head of the Howard Pulley AAU program. Thomas had received interest from several Division I schools, including Minnesota. Thomas, who is perhaps state's top guard, led the Hylanders to a 18-11 mark last season as he averaged 22.8 points as a sophomore.

Troy E. Hudson Enterprises held off a valiant effort from the Howard Pulley squad for a 113-104 victory. Howard Pulley had a double-figure lead in the second half before the veteran play of Troy E. Hudson Enterprises took over in the fourth quarter. Troy E. Hudson Enterprises improved to 1-2, while Howard Pulley fell to 0-3.
