"I'm gonna be a Vandal"

Team Captain MICHAEL TERRY, a rugged linebacker and runningback at Angleton (Tex.) High School, has been on Idaho's recruiting radar for months. This week, the Idaho coaches got the call they had been anticipating when Terry made his final decision and picked the University of Idaho. The future outside linebacker talked with Scout.com about his trip to Moscow and his decision to be a Vandal.

Vandals continue mining Texas

Since taking over the the helm of the Idahol football program, head coach Robb Akey has made recruiting Texas a priority. Recent signees include sophomore starting linebacker Justin Allen and athlete Quin Ashley who has played quarterback, wide receiver, and defensive back in his first two years at Idaho. And now Angleton Team Captain MICHAEL TERRY is the latest Texan to pledge to Akey and crew.

Angleton back has a pair of offers

Players head to camps in the hopes of getting an offer from a school. Some do great at a camp and get offers while others put themselves on the recruiting map. One player who has done both is Michael Terry from Angleton.
