Kentucky's Top Player Enjoyed RedHawk Visit

RedHawk recruiting target Ricardo Johnson had his eyes on a state title. Johnson had told RedHawk Insider, "We lost in the (2008) title game so we know what it takes to get back." Johnson apparently did know what it takes as he led Holmes High School to the 2009 Kentucky state championship and earned MVP honors for his performance. His performance earned him an invite to visit Miami.

Ricardo Johnson: "We Know What it Takes"

Junior Ricardo Johnson has his eyes on the ultimate prize - a state championship. The 6'5" and 190 pound guard/forward has reached near that summit, but was unable to stand on top. Last year, Covington Holmes High School reached the title game before losing 57-48 to Kentucky Wildcat signee Darius Miller's Mason County Royals.
